Pistoia Zoo

A few steps from the city, the Park covers area of 7 hectares and is home to over 600 animals including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. African penguins, bears, giraffes, colorful parrots and the rare lemurs of Madagascar are just some of the examples that you can admire and learn to protect.

To discover the secrets of nature through direct experience participates in our educational activities! The Laboratory of Biodiversity, environment dedicated to teaching for all ages offers you a choice of educational workshops, themed tours and night tours to explore the zoo in the moonlight.

There are also large picnic areas and a restaurant, bar and a playground for small children.
