In the heart of Lucca, in the prestigious building of the former Barracks Lorenzini, is the newborn Italian Museum of Comics and Image: a fairy tale that tells of men, heroes and speech bubbles.

Massive sliding doors, shield-shaped, mark the entrance into the fantastic realm of comics, where the past takes you into the present in a cultural continuum-emotional in the name of pleasure.

The prevalence of structures in iron ore and walls as black as ink recreate the atmosphere of the "old factory" glazed forward to the opportunity, but at the same time imbued with modernity under a sky of bright colors chameleon panels and suspended in a background sound from the dreamlike flavor.
