A true journey of taste in the program for the 2014 edition of "Il Desco Hall of flavors and knowledge of Lucca" which returns to the Royal College of Lucca from 15 November to 8 December, on Saturdays and Sundays.
After the great success of the past editions (over 40 thousand visitors per year), Il Desco is not only a showcase of local products of the highest quality - including fragrant meats like ham Bazzone, the Biroldo of Garfagnana (both Slow Food) and Mondiola, the old "cheese shepherd" Slumped called the Goat and the Garfagnana, or the Formentone ottofile and Spelt PGI, accompanied by excellent wines from areas of high value such as Monte Carlo and the Colline Lucchesi - but it is a real journey of flavors from Lucca takes you through the streets of the Garfagnana between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, crossing the Versilia and the beautiful Serchio Valley.
At Il Desco flavors are the preferred means to talk about places, people, passions, challenges, insights, values that contribute to the state "model of Lucca", based on the excellence of the products and processes, the "ancient knowledge" on 'care and attention to quality, originality and uniqueness of the food and wine but also a vision of the future that crossing tradition with innovation exports to Italy and in the world the identity of this land.
